Shrimp Cakes with Red Pepper Sauce

John and I went on vacation this summer at Bar Harbor in Maine. It was the best holiday I've ever been. We have on many islands-St. Lucia, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and many more, but Bar Harbor stole the show for the most beautiful place I've been. All pictures in my "About Me" section, from there it was just a special trip for us. When we were there we ate our way through many fabulous restaurants. We tried many crab cakes I'm surprised he came home to fit in your pants, it was serious. It was probably 6 hours a day walking uphill (both ways, of course:: wink wink::) that, although useful.

John has asked me to make crab cakes and I think it started. I do not know why, probably because the crab is new to me and I'm not so safe with him. So when I saw a pop-up cake recipe shrimp shrimp became something I'm quite familiar with! This recipe was excellent. I thought a little layer of seasoned breadcrumbs and pan that, in addition to a bathroom paprika in honor of the legendary crab cakes with red pepper sauce we had in Bar Harbor. I loved the combination of filling for this, I mean, rice and bread crumbs? YES PLEASE! I chose bread crumbs instead of panko with him because I knew it would be better with a little oil if desired in panko to cover a little oil. This is really a dinner that John and I were like the fans and will be held again and again.

Oh, and just for fun, here are some pictures of these incredible vacation in Bar Harbor!
