So a couple of nights ago, John and I were relaxing at home when the urgent need for chocolate chip cookies. Unfortunately, so was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Go to the store, or in the kitchen … hmmm. I decided to enter the kitchen. Plan a recipe that I made to do before, but I was out of butter! :: Hits head on:
I am never out of butter. Never. I can buy the material at Costco. I fear the thought of butter. And yet it happened. So I turned to the faith between sites (like my husband likes to call it lol!) And google a recipe for chocolate chip cookies without butter. Low and behold, they had much choice.
This recipe was awesome! I'm in love with the texture of these cookies. They are like the cake! Soft and pillowy. The taste is good, but I missed the taste of butter. But as they are with chocolate chips that did not lose too much butter is loaded. Overall, a great success and definitely a recipe that would do it again, because it is very easy.
