M&M Sugar Cookie Bars
Remember that when I got my original first cookie recipe perfect party cookies? Well, I'm dying to try my hand in a cookie recipe for a different original. I thought, why was not the first time a success! And how you can say I have an affinity for colored cookies, so of course my second original cookie recipe would be to integrate M & Ms!
I tell you, these cookies I'm worried! I have the dough, threw them in the oven, and retained control over them. Tested to 12 minutes or so. Approximately 15 minutes. 18 minutes, a bit raw. 20 minutes, however, butter / wet in the center. Right now I'm mad! I mean, come that adequate M & M wants to lose! So I went, back in 5 minutes, and voila perfect. Lesson learned never seen a pot boiling … or better yet … supervised a cookie that never sets.
They were very sweet. They had a good flavor of butter, vanilla came through fine, and the M & M provided some contrast. The key to M & Ms, is based on the cookies once they are partially cooked or are on the ground, the decline more against the purpose of the cookies.
A word of warning: I have a small baking dish, about 8 times 5 is not a standard size. If you use a larger container, which are naturally thin and bake quickly. If you are not a small bowl, maybe even double the recipe, or simply time to cook!
