I do not do cakes. I do not know why, but just not what I do often. There are some blogs where you create these absolutely beautiful cakes a week, and think: "Who eats the cake" Cookies are now simply because you can eat in one form or call some of them. However, a cake it always feels like you have a chance for me. Gather a group of people and sing a song, and then eat a piece. I can not imagine a cake for John and only get so I just do not cake in my tiny kitchen. However, I finally had the opportunity to make a cake, and I took the chance. Boston cream pie is similar to the popular Boston cream donut. I have to say it was a big success to celebrate in our family. Ingredients:
Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix prepared, such as field guides (or at home if desired)
Filling:
3.4 A box of powdered instant French vanilla pudding
1 1 / 2 cup whipping cream
1 / 2 cup powdered sugar
1 / 4 cup milk
1 / 2 cup sour cream
Ganache:
1 cup whipping cream
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
Directions:
1 – Prepare the cake out in the field. Bake and cool completely.
2 – Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine all filling ingredients and mix well until stiff peaks form. (I did it by hand, but you can do to the average speed in stand mixer.)
3 – Keep the filling is placed in the refrigerator while the cake to finish cooling.
4 – After the cake has cooled, place one layer on a cake pan. Evenly distribute the filling over the cake. Top with second layer.
5 – Prepare the ganache, bring cream to a boil quickly. Once you pour the cooking chocolate in a medium bowl. Stir until chocolate is melted and the ganache is smooth and shiny.
6 – Let the ganache cool significantly. Once cool, pour the ganache over cake and spread evenly. You can allow it to drain the site or distribute evenly to coat the sides.
7 – Keep refrigerated until serving are.
